ReCrea Collection

The Recrea collection grounds on examining objects from a different perspective compared to the one they were created of. It’s about a movement, a battle against inhibition, a challenge to dominant ideology, conventions and habits.

Alcarol recreates requirements and new stories by re-conditioning objects, by catalysing and supporting the unavoidable processes of things convertibleness. Objects that history forgets are analyzed, re- interpreted and thought over to be integrated into a new advanced cycle. Recrea is art, which converts obsoleted materials and objects into a new form with features of higher quality and value than previous one.

This reconditioning procedure gives the object a new current purpose and recreates a new more qualified and up to date product.

Inside Recrea, the inevitable things metamorphosis is accelerated, seeking a contemporary reinsertion, conserving the cultural origins, but always generating a real ennoblement of the object and the material, through a creative process, resulting in items that are both again fascinating and again functional.
