The story behind

The screen is made of four Burled Maple wood planks with live edges, frozen in a transparent resin like in an infinite moment. The Burled Maple is the wood in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner, but it is absolutely natural, however unusual. The human eye knows it when it sees it in the dashboards of luxury cars, but generally does not know the full external appearance of this rare wood with its amazing live edges.
It’s anything but average. The swirls, twirls, and eyes dancing in the bark all create a unique, highly figured grain that no human could dream of designing, but it is in effect a real wood of our planet.

The wood has been thoroughly impregnated with a special verdigris and oil process that brings out these extraordinary holographic grain, making it appear even more extraterrestrial, a sort of unusual forest in a parallel world. But it is not a space screen, it is a terrestrial screen which also represents the earthly Eden in which we can still live. An impulse to study and learn about our planet, transcending the ordinary perception.
