Palino

palino1 In Venice, the palina is the historical timber mooring pole, used by every kind of boat. Palino aims to the highest formal synthesis of two main materials  in the venetian millennial history. The small table, obtained from four slices of these famous disused timber poles, perfectly set in a tempered glass which seems like lagoon surface. Glass as water, which  brushes the ‘paline’, reflecting their contours.
